In the list of sins for WC's it's listed (I think I read it there) the use of animu for art is a reason to autoinclude a WC in the most wanted list. And for Animu we reffer to an manga-like style, but lacking style and proper work.
The main reason people uses this animu seems to bea total lack of art preparations, mostly, kids drawing their favorite anime characters, then changing clothes, and names. Thus creating a totally unoriginal character.

It's a representation of an event in the sci-fi novel Farenheit 451. If you ever read the book (not the movies), the characters portrayed there are: an old woman (the cute little girl having a smile in the panels), a middle-aged bizarre firefighter (the young-looking guy with a scared face) and ther other middle-aged, old age bizarre firefighters (portrayed as "bad" young boys in bizarre firefighter suits.
This representation is just offending to whoever has read thebook. It seems clearly the character representing Guy Montag (the middle-aged scared guy) looks like Shinji. Pretty much. And the SUPPOSEDLY old woman, is a. Teen. Girl.
SCREW IT!
As a little note: Anime uses teen/young aged people as main theme in order to create a symphaty between the meant public and the story. Thus a child that for no reason has to be the savior of the world, IS the savior of the world.

This other example. Although it remains some of the animuy theme, it's a bit more related to the original plot enviroment. The characters at some degree reasemble the original age context, and it seems to be somewhat digestible.
It's annoying that som people under the lacking of proper art appreciation skills, tends to ani-kawaii whatever they find as "cool" or at least "interesting". The anime is meant for a younger audience, thus the main characters have to be OP'd kids. Stories like this, or even other themes in WC's are hardly adaptable for younger audience. None the less, be used young themed art for depicting it.
This stupid chan-kids only help worsen something that in the beginning was bad. Nope, not Fahrenheit. But the anime fandom itself.
What is necessary an adult or specyfic aged character to perform, CAN'T be performed by a kid or age-unrelated character. Unless the plot previously specifies it.
I just wish there was a waytto help getting rid off this.
