I've enjoyed this comic: http://intragalacticcomic.com/ It's a fairly good parody of Star Trek and space opera in general that alternates between high brow wit and lowbrow slapstick. This cartoonist has a better grasp of what makes a funny punchline than most. Really crisp, distinctive art with plenty of interesting little details, too.
http://headdoctor.comicgenesis.com/is another good one. Sort of an anthology comic that's lately featured a parable called "The Book of Armless Theo," an interesting meditation on faith, religion, and the freedom to question. Um, it's not nearly as dry as it sounds. The art has a real flair for the grotesque, too.
