Hey guys, using my first post here to introduce something terrible. I've been a lurker for a while and finally decided to come in and contribute. But I'm not sure if I'll be able to review this one myself. Why? Because Pebble Version is nearly 900 fucking strips long. I used to read it when I was young and stupid and it wasn't nearly as unbearably long. Fiddling with the URLs, I can place the characters' progress to a little less than halfway through the actual game. In the time it takes for this comic to inch along at its unbearable pace, the creators of Pokemon have released an entire new set of games.
From what I remember, of the panels with dialogue, half of the area is consumed by colored text in a narrow font that totally doesn't work for comics. Middle panels are generally either bogged down by dialogue or are completely unnecessary pauses to allow the characters to react to some inane dialogue. Every time the characters get a new Pokemon, they spend at least a full four-panel strip checking their Pokedexes to get absurd tidbits of information about them.
I might try tackling this one, but I don't know if I have the time. I'd love to contribute, but some of these I just can't get through due to sheer length.
